The company is run by a dedicated and experienced executive management team comprising the Managing Director and Chief of Finance, responsible for recruiting trained and expert staff to run the company’s various divisions.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Lawson has held senior positions at several multinational banks, including Lloyds Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and Sanwa International.

Dr. Chabala holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, an MSc from the University of Manchester, and a BSc from the University of Zambia. A respected thought leader, his article on the Lobito Corridor attracted global attention, including recognition during President Biden’s visit to Angola

At Klapton Re, she is responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy and ensuring that Klapton Re is positioned as a trusted reinsurance partner across global markets. She focuses on long-term client engagement and brand-building efforts that support the Company’s growth ambitions while keeping Klapton Re competitive and innovative in today’s reinsurance landscape.
He has overseen the management of numerous audits in various financial services sectors such as banking, investment management, insurance, and reinsurance.
He also served as Head of Finance and Administration at Thebe Investments Limited, developers of the Nkwashi Housing project during its start-up phase responsible for establishing the finance department.
Musonda is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA-UK), and a Zambian Institute of Chartered Accountants member. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Monash University South Africa.

Mrs. Mayeya has an MBA in Strategic Management for the University of Zambia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economic from the University of Zambia. She also has CII Level 3 Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in the United Kingdom.
Mrs. Mayeya is the Principal Officer and Managing Director of Symmetric Insurance Solutions and currently serves as a member of the Reinsurance, Claims and ICT Committee of Klapton Reinsurance PLC. Previous, she served as the Principal Officer and Managing Director of Poised Insurance Brokers Limited, the Manager- Director Business. Broker Markets at Hollard Insurance Zambia Limited, Customer relationship Manager at Madison General Insurance and Underwriting and Re-insurance Manager at Innovate General Insurance.

He is a certified Banker and Chartered Accountant (ACCA), and holds an MA in International Development from the University of Manchester. He serves and has previously served on various Boards including, World Vision, NATSAVE, Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services, End Malaria Council, Klapton Reinsurance, Millenium TV, Dream Life 260, Habitat for Humanity and Client Care Solutions Limited. He is also a Chevening Scholar (2007/8 Cohort).

a Corporate and Commercial Law Firm based in Lusaka Zambia assisting entities in navigating the policy, legal and regulatory landscape during the set up stage and continuous compliance post set up in the different sectors of the Zambian economy.
Ms. Mumba has also served as National Coordinator for the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA) working in conjunction with private sector players to advocate for an enabling and conducive business environment from Government and other key stakeholders. Currently, Ms. Mumba’s role has been expanded to cater for Countries in the Southern Africa region to ensure that different markets provide a conducive business environment for private sector minigrid players.
Ms. Mumba has previously served on the Licensing Committee of the Securities and Exchange Commission-Zambia, Audit and Risk Committee of the Civil Aviation Authority-Zambia and Board Member at Klapton Reinsurance PLC.
Ms. Mumba currently serves on the Board of Indeni Energy Oil Company, Immia capital, National Legal Aid Clinic for Women and Member for Human Resource and Renumeration Committee of the Board of Klapton Reinsurance PLC.
Ms. Mumba holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of London, a Bachelor of laws degree from the University of Zambia (UNZA) and is an Advocate of all the Courts and Tribunals in Zambia, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration and a Member of the Institute of Directors (IDOZ).
